The young man, named Lin Hai, is a student at the prosperous prosperity restaurant, where he has been dining with his friends. He tells his friend that he has heard that the owner of the prosperous restaurant, guan shangjie, has many connections in the community, and that he can always find the girls he wants. He also tells the friend that the man whom he first met at the prosperity restaurant was a nice man, but that he is now flirting with another man, whom he does not name. Lin Hai wonders what would happen if he found out that the other man was pursuing the girl he is with, and he asks the friend if he remembers the last time he was scolded for ghosting him. The friend tells him that he will not be punished for his past behavior, and the friend asks him what he does for a living, and Lin Hai tells him he is also a student, and asks him if he needs his help in singling guan. He says that there is a rumor that once a wealthy man's daughter refused to accompany him out, and in return, the man made her family bankrupted. He adds that he himself is better than the man, and so he is confident of his superiority to the man. He then tells the other friends to kill the man immediately, and they all begin to do so, but Lin Hai reminds them that he was the one who first brought the man to them.
