The battle begins, and Lin is in the middle of his fire attack when he hears the sound of a "bald head" and a "boom... fire" coming from the entrance of the cave. Lin is horrified at the idea of bringing back the nine-head hydra. He tells Musashi that he has taken precautions to protect the helmet from harm, and he is worried that if the helmet is destroyed, his powers will be taken away and he will be blamed for all of his crimes. Lin says that he would rather have the helmet brought back to life rather than suffer the consequences of his actions alone. He thinks that if he were to destroy the helmet, he would be the first to give his power to the world, and everything would be under his control.
