Yingtao tries to convince himself that he's the one who's responsible for the murder, but he can't get past the fact that he is his father's son. He's going to go to hell, he says, and he'll be punished according to the law. He doesn't believe that ziming is responsible for killing his beloved. He even thinks that yingtao is obsessed with him, and that they'll end up going to hell together. Yung-ye says that he wants to apologize to ying-tao, and apologizes that he didn't leave him back when he was in love with her. He apologizes to her, too, and tells her that she'll always have a special place in his heart, but that he was a failure as a husband and a father. He promises to take her to the underworld to get her reincarnated, so that she can get back at him.
