This chapter opens with Yusu's exclamation that he is still alive and that the palm of the Buddha has been sealed in his body. He asks the Master if he is okay and why he has been staying in Heaven for so long. The Master tells him that he has reached the stage of the fake pill and is learning two more techniques. He tells Yusu that he can see through the 72 transformations of Wukong and that he will be able to use the divine eye to see through all sorts of magical powers. Yusu tells him to appear as a cultivator pill and show him a new technique. He says that the new technique is comparable to the soul cultivators, but Yusu warns him to be careful because the nascent cultivators could easily dodge his attack. The master says that he cannot move his body, so he will use an ice blade. He thanks Yusu for the skill, and tells her that he borrowed the moon lake's power to change the direction of her attack. He then asks her how the thunder crystal can be used to drive the flying magic weapon. She says that she will need to use a thunder crystal tonight at the entrance to Xingzilin.
