# 182 THE DREAM WE'D THROWN AWAY.
This is a locked chapter# 182 THE DREAM WE'D THROWN AWAY.
About This Chapter
In this short scene, the band explains that they're disappointed that they didn't get the chance to perform at the festival because they wanted to compete with the other acts. They're also disappointed because they asked the festival organizer to let them know that they were going to be the opening act, but she refused to tell anyone. The band says that if they had been the first act, there would have been a lot of people there to hear them, and that would not have been fair to them. They also say that if the crowd started to leave, that would mean that the festival was over. They wonder why the festival president chose them to play the festival instead of someone else. They don't know why, but they do know that the president sent them on their way, so it must have been good for her. They decide to change the band's name to the Canaries, since they'll be playing the festival's second act instead of the first.
