The narrator wakes up in the middle of the night. He's exhausted from the day's work, so he's heading out to get some sleep. When he wakes up, he finds that the kids sent by Tomomi as part-time help have all but disappeared. The narrator is bummed out that she doesn't have anything left to eat, but she's also excited about the prospect of meeting the narrator in person. She's going to shoot a short film with him in the next week, and she'll be able to meet the narrator alone if she wants to. She tells the narrator that she'd like to meet him in person if she can.
