The narrator says that he came to meet the band because he heard a voice on his phone that said that they were going to perform at a school fair. He says that when he first heard about it, he thought that she was going to give up on music, but then she told him that she'd formed a band and would perform at the fair. She's so happy that she wants to see the band perform. He tells her that they're already decided to play at the festival, and he says that if she knew they'd be playing, she would be happy to see them. He also says that it's her birthday present to him, because she wrote a song for him.
