In this short scene, Roxane tries to convince herself that she doesn't want to be a part of the conversation between her and Nika. She says that she's always admired Nika's talent and that when they stood on stage together today, she was so happy that it would be a memory she'd never forget. But she also says that if Nika keeps loving her, then she'll keep loving him too. She asks if he's back home, and he says that he hasn't yet. She then asks if it's the same thing that's happened to her and Kory before. She's sorry that she didn't get along with Kory back then, but she says that it was because she wanted to be strong enough so that she wouldn't have to be weak again. She also asks if Kory just rejected her. He says that was the way it went, and that he decided that he'd get stronger so that he could smile no matter what he was hurting. He asks if this is the kind of melody that inspires Kory to write songs, and she says it is. He tells her to shut up and he'll hit her if she says another word.
