The chapter opens with a conversation between the narrator and the drummer of the band Blue Wells. The drummer, nachi kun, tells the narrator that the band wants to play a new song for the members of the hedgehogs, and the narrator is excited. He tells the drummer that he has given him some advice, and he is now thinking that maybe he should return to the band. The narrator tells him that the rain has stopped, and they are waiting for him at the garage. He then tells the story of a young band that he once saw, and that they are back in action. He asks the drummer to play the song for him.
