The owner of the place wants to know if anyone will be there to meet him, so he asks the musician to teach him how to play a song. The musician says that he knows the owner, so it is okay for him to meet with him in the private room. The music producer is intrigued by the idea of learning to play the guitar, but he is afraid that he will be kicked out if he does not comply with the owner's wishes. He tells the musician that he can only teach him the theory of how to move from one beat to the next. He says that if the musician wants something from him, he should just come out of the room and say it. He thinks that the musician looked glum when he played the song for him, and he wonders if this is because the musician has been writing his own songs all along. He wonders if it is just the way the music business works, for kids who are called geniuses to be able to write their own songs.
