At the beginning of this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, who is introduced as "tama chan" . We learn that she is a famous singer in Japan, and that she has just come to perform a song with another famous singer, "Koyuki hinashi," who is also famous in the United States. The two of them are singing a song called "The Town Where the Stars Fall" , which is one of the most popular songs of all time. When the song is over, the two are joined onstage by a drummer and a keyboardist. The drummer and the keyboardist are also known as "mikasa" and "senpai," respectively, which means "friend" or "lover" in Japanese. As the song ends, we learn that "the number" is one singer in America who is taking over the world by storm.
