About This Chapter
Minghao Luo's old friend, Captain Duan, tells him that the case has reached a "dead end" because the investigation was "too careless" . He tells Duan to stay and read the case files. Duan says that he'll buy Duan a drink, but he's sorry that Ming Ma has gone missing. He says that psychiatrists have patient files on all their patients, but that's not the case with Ming Ma. The psychologist at the central hospital says that there's nothing in Ming Ma's file about him, but the psychologist says that only Dr. Ma has the key to the room where the patient's files are kept. He also says that if Duan is reading this, it means that Duan has already been involved with the case. He asks Duan about the locker at the gym, and Duan explains that the gym is refurnishing it, so they're going to have Duan pick up the stuff in the locker. He's also worried that the locker has a password, because Duan didn't open it when Duan died. He wonders if the gym locker is the same one that the principal's son found.
