Panzi tells his uncle that he has had a terrible case of scarlet fever, which has spread to his arm. Panzi says that he's lucky that he survived, because if he had been killed, it would have been a "terrible death." Panzi goes on to say that he had a trip to the southeast asia, where he saw a "black magic" from there. He says that if he doesn't do something about it, it will spread to the rest of his body in three months. He tells Panzi that he lost an arm, which is okay since his life was saved, but that it must have been the "damn ladyboy" who killed Panzi last time.
