Back at the police station, Scully and Oyang finally figure out the secret of the ghost image. It's the old man's cornea, which was transplanted into Scully's own eye. Scully is bummed that he hasn't been seen for a month, but he's determined to do something about it. He goes to his sister's house, where she's waiting for her brother-in-law, Chicken. The drug dealer who fell off the building went into a coma after falling out of the building, but no one is there. Scully wonders if he can find some new clues in the house. He knocks on the door, and there's a picture on the wall with a symbol next to it. Scully thinks it's probably the same symbol as the one that the drug dealer found. Scully asks if the symbol is the sign of an organization or a cult, and the police officer answers that it might just mean "ward off evil" or "charm of good luck" . The police officer tells Scully that Chicken has already died, and that his body was taken away by an old woman two days ago. Scully doesn't want to come back to the house to look for him, but Oyang tells him to go home.
