About This Chapter
This is a very important scene. It's important for the audience to know that this is the first time that we've seen Mr. Boyang's side of the bargain. He tells the audience that he'll be watching over his daughter, and he wants to make sure that she's treated as an adult, not a child. He's worried that his daughter's emotions might be upset, so he tells her to calm down first. He wants to know what's going on with his daughter. He asks her how she is, and she tells him that she is trying to disturb his mind. He says that he has been there all along, and that he wasn't the one who woke her up. He reminds her that since she was born, he's been hurting her more and more. She's lost, he says. He begs her to give him a chance. He promises that he will protect her from all harm, but he says that unless xiangxiang and squeaky come back, he won't be able to give up. This is the one thing he hates the most about her. She reminds him that when she killed the two men for revenge, she became one of them. She asks him why he dragged her to the grave of the dead man. He explains that an old man came to the cemetery to pay respects, and the man saw the grave. The old man told the man that the grave looked like a weed growing out of it. The man asks the old man to come back and look at the grave, but the man doesn't want to tell him that it's squeaky's. He just wants to look at it, and says that it wants his daughter to return too. He also asks the man why he didn't say that it already died, and why he wants it to be continued.
