Back at the orphanage, the boyang tells the old duan that his son shidan has escaped. He's been hiding everywhere, and he's desperate to tell the duan all he knows. The duan doesn't believe him, because his son's birth was a mistake, and everyone thinks that the boy is an orphan. The boyang says that he'll consider the information, and if the information proves to be useful, he won't let him ever see him again. He also says that shidan's name was a rumor, and that he hasn't been able to find him for three years. He says that a mysterious man recently came to the orphanage and asked for his help. The man wanted to know if he still has his life, and the duans knew that the man already expected him to ask for it. The mouse says that even if the authorities manage to rescue him, he'd still be dead after they learn what they want to know. The only thing that matters right now, he says, is to find the mysterious man. If the lens is related to the fire, then it's possible that the photographer is also connected to the case. The other possibility is that the mouse decides to create a new character, a girl, as a mascot.
