About This Chapter
Back in the factory area, the narrator is having a bad day. His phone is dead, and the bus has already left. He hears that the alley behind the factory is cursed by the ghost of his uncle. He's been walking around the factory for a long time, but he still hasn't made it to the end of road. He asks if it's because he's trapped in the alley, and when he finds out that it isn't, he tells the narrator to go home and take a bath. The narrator asks if the ghost has come out of the alley. When the narrator says no, the ghost says that the wind was strong outside, and that means that the curse has been broken. He says that he and the narrator have been walking into the alley and have been passing the same spot several times. He tells them that he once heard a "solution" to the curse of walking in circles. The solution, he says, is to "squat on the ground" and "pee." The narrator says he'll give this a try, and if he doesn't feel like it, then he can give it another try. He then asks if he can count on the narrator, and he says he will. He goes on to say that the next day, he saw his uncle's body carried away by doctors, and then the ghost appeared in his presence as if he was still alive. He didn't want to talk to him, so he kept his eyes closed. He thinks that he was trapped in that alley by his uncle, and so he couldn't escape. He decides to go back to work, and everyone is back.
