About This Chapter
Back at the police station, the monk tells the manager of the night fragrance shop that he has to go immediately to the station to find out what's going on. The manager says that he's been working with the monk for a long time now, and that the recordings of all of their drug transactions since 2000 are really impressive. He also says that they can use the recordings to track down all of the drug dealers in the city. The monk says that with the recordings, they can easily track down every single drug dealer in the town. He then gives the manager the files to keep track of, and the manager is impressed. He says that there are only three drug transactions a month, but only one of them was in the month that the man died. He's worried that if they find out, they'll be in big trouble. He wants to check out the goods, but the curtain is hanging so low that he can't see the smoke coming out of the place. He decides to leave, but he doesn't want to follow the manager. He knows that the manager has something to do with it, and he decides to go back to being a taxi driver.
