About This Chapter
In this final chapter of the series, Shylock's uncle, uncle boyang, explains how Shylock earned the trust of his loyal servant, the mouse. He explains that he has learned that the mouse is going to perform a drug deal in person. Old duan, who has been waiting outside for the hare, is now waiting for the driver of the car to arrive. He tells the driver to raise his hand above his head, as it is finally time for the transaction. Shylock is fooled by the trap set by the mouse, and he falls on his own. He is afraid that no one will call an ambulance for the man if he is not quickly taken to the hospital. He asks the captain of the club to come and see him, but the captain refuses to answer any of his questions. Instead, he tells the captain to look at Shylock first. The captain asks Shylock if he wants to see the informant, and the captain tells him that he is a true man, and that he will answer his questions first. He then asks if the informant is wearing the mask that he saw the day before, and if the captain will confirm that he was the one who saw the mask. He says that if the police station receives the recording, he will be able to confirm that it was the same man who was seen in the mask, as he guessed that the captain's number was on the informant's cell phone. The uncle says that he does not want to let the informant die in order to protect his job as a police officer, but he does want a verbal confirmation that the informant was indeed the same person who was wearing a mask that day.
