When duan goes to the hospital to check on the chicken, he finds out that the chicken has died. When he leaves the hospital, Chicken's grandma shows up. She tells duan that he's responsible for the death of the chicken because he captured it and sold it to a drug dealer. She also tells him that he can go to the church the next day if he wants. Duan tells her that the church is in the neighborhood where he lives. He's going to wash his master's feet and eat holy meat. He says that everyone must live according to the rules of the universe.
