About This Chapter
Minghao asks if he can talk to him. He wants to know if he's asking to be left in Minmin again. He doesn't want to give her money or anything else. He's not going to leave her unless he dies. He tells her that he killed her father and blames it on a criminal. He says that he loves her, and that's why he killed the family. He also says that Minghao has a "serious tendency to violence" and that he needs to find a reason to leave Minmin before she hates him. Minghao tells his little brat that if he does this again, he'll never bring her back. He then tells her to put the water away. He adds that he had a fight with Minghao that day in the hallway, but that he'd better not tell her about it. Now that he knows, he wants to tell Minmin the truth, but he worries that she'll get crazy if he tells her the truth. He admits that he didn't really love Minghao before, but Minghao is the only one he could ever love, and now he loves him so deeply that he won't ever love her again. If he lets her know, she might get crazy, and she might lose her love for him, too. But he says that hatred can also be a motivation for overcoming pain.
