He asks the girls if they're afraid of driving themselves, and they tell him that they aren't. He then asks if she's afraid of working as a mechanic, and she tells him that she is. He says that she has been pretending all the time that she'll never be able to afford a car, and he tells her to enjoy the abalone she has never eaten before. He reminds her that he heard a man say that skin is the best pelt because it's smooth and delicate.
