In this chapter, we learn that Dr. Pelius and his ex-wife, Arakihabara, are in the middle of a divorce. They've been married for 27 years, but they haven't had a child together. The woman conceived the child through an inseminal pregnancy, and the doctor is mad at her for it. He sued her for the child, and she gave birth to a daughter, named Setsuna, who was adopted by the doctor. The doctor is furious at his wife for not telling him what was going on, and he even went after her in court to try and get custody of the child. But now that he knows what he's doing, he doesn't want to do it again. He wants to use his own "nuclear war game" against women.
