Dr. Coppelius tells the gang that he's going to escape to the sky, but they're not going to let him go. They're going to chase him down, and they'll teach him how to fight. Dr. coppelus is all, "Hey, I've got a long way to go, so I'm going to teach you a thing or two" . He's got a bunch of other things to worry about, too, like the fact that the girls have run away from Toranosuke, and that he has been hacking into the archives of the Coppelion project to find out what's been going on in the past. He wants to know why the girls are running away, and he figures out that it's because they've been cooped up in the attic for so long that they haven't had much of a chance to do anything. He tells them that they have one last chance to escape, and tells them to join him in his plan. He says he'll choose his own path, and then they can all go back to the real world together.
