Now that the dolls have been reunited with Dr. Nemo, they're ready to go back to their normal selves. The doctor tells them that they'll have to wait until the end of the world before they can have their desires fulfilled. The dolls, however, are not so sure. They've heard the name "Coppelion" before, but they don't understand why it's associated with them. The doll says that they just want to undo a curse that was cast upon them by the humans in Shinto--a curse that wiped out all of the survivors in the town. They want to make sure that the curse doesn't come back to bite them in the butt. They can't figure out who the doctor is, and the doctor says that he was seven years old when he was chased away from the Bio-Science Institute at the expo-plex. He's the one who built the laboratory where the dolls are made. He tells the dolls that he's their creator, and that they can do whatever they want with their creations. They all agree that the doll's creator is the same person who created them.
