Naruse has escaped from prison, and the two men try to figure out how they're going to get him back. They're worried that the robot will catch up to them in no time, so they swap out the grapple gun for the needle and scale it up to the switch. Naruse says he'll wait until one of the girls tries to stop him, and then he's going to hit the switch himself. He's not going to let anyone stop him. He says he wants to do something, even if it's just a tiny thing. He wants to climb a tree and use the gun to strike back at the robot. But he can't, because the road is so narrow that they'll have to run back to the spider house. He pulls the trigger on the gun and the spider will kill him. The two men run after the robot, but the robot is too far away to catch them. They pull the trigger again, but this time it'll kill the robot instead of the girl. They run after her, but she's still using the gun on the other girl. The men think that the other girls hate them, but they won't be able to stop them because of the way they've been experimenting on them.
