The chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter. The scene opens with Hirohito and the rest of the crew in the middle of a battle against the First Division. The First Division is under attack from the Second Division, led by an armored walker. The walker is carrying a cannon, which is being used to shoot down the advancing Second Division. As they are about to fire upon the walker, they hear a splash of water and the sound of gunfire. The Second Division rushes in to defend the walker from the attack, but the walker is too close to the advancing second division to fire at it. The second division, however, is able to stop the walker before it can attack them.
