In the tower, Cai Ming-liang is about to die. He's done his best to help the demon tribe, but he's about to be killed by his brother, who's trying to sneak in to kill him. He asks if there's any way to figure out what's going on with the blank tablet. The ghost of the spirit maiden comes out of the tower and tries to sneak into the room, but the brothers foil her. They're about to kill her, but she's still there, and they're not about to let her go. They can't kill her alone, so they'll have to fight one person at a time.
