The demon king tells the brat that though he's mad, he shouldn't be so angry that he smashes things. He says that if the brat apologizes, he'll be forgiven, but if he doesn't apologize, people will judge him as a bad person. The brat says that he shut hell up, and the demon king says that's why he threw the stone at him. He's not from purgatory, he says, so he can't have the fire, and he says that after he goes to hell, he will know who will be sent to hell. He tells her to come out if she isn't dead yet, and then he will stab her to death if she's still alive. He wakes her up and tells her that he has to find the guy who beat him and beat him again. He wants her to take refuge now, but she says that her wound is still bleeding. He asks her why she is so scared, and she tells him that she was told not to fight against him. She says that the brat is too kind-hearted to be a demon, and that the demon killed him because he was too kind. The demon says that she is the same as his father, the one who killed the brat. She asks him why he is not the same demon that he killed his father. He replies that he was killed on behalf of "the soft- hearted demon" .
