In the forest city of Tanmeng, the Lord of the Forest tells his servant that he and the other lords have gone back to the city to quell the rebellion. The sound of a deer coming from the forest reminds him that he is in charge of the forest. He asks the goddess if she is really the goddess of the deer. The goddess tells him that she is the forest goddess and that she does not look like her. She tells him to give the seed of life to her, otherwise she will suffer. The Lord tells her to give it to him, otherwise he will kill all of them. He tells her that he will bury them alive if they do not give him the seed.
