The chapter opens with a "Calendar splash" . It's the end of the school year, which means that there's a lot of work to be done for the next school year. Mengmeng is all, "Gee, I'm pregnant, and I'd like to have a baby!" . He's not the only one who's bummed out about having a baby: his mom is pregnant, too, and he's worried about how he'll be able to take care of her now that she's had a child. He tells his mom that he'd rather be a nanny than a working man, and that's just what he does. He also tells her that he has some money in his bedside table, which he plans to use to buy food for the family.
