In this short scene, we learn that Cai Ming-ling is still alive, and that he has managed to kill all of the other demons except the one who has poisoned him with the poison. We learn that he is still going to kill people, even though they will all die in the process. He is still able to act tough, because he has the patience to wait for the right moment to kill someone.
