Yumo is still alive, and his mom is waiting for him. He tells his mom that he's still alive and that he can't be killed. He asks where Shuyu is, and Shuyu tells him to come over to the place where he was carried away by the demon beast. Yumo wants to know what happened to his village, and he begs his mom not to kill him. Shuyu wants to go back to the village, but his mom tells him that they're under an order to stay in the place. He begs her to help him, but she refuses, saying that they have to live in the village. She tells him not to try to escape, but to follow her. He says he'll loosen his hand, and they should keep quiet, but he wants to live. Soon after that, he returned to see how the village was doing, and saw that Shuyu was being killed by the shadow. He didn't blame himself, he says, because now they have avenged his death.
