This chapter opens with a tap on the door. It's Meng Meng, and he's been waiting for his master to show up. He's happy to see him, because he thinks that he and his daughter are really close. He tells Meng to go home, because his daughter is locked up in the dungeon with her master, and she's going to be the next one to be locked up. Meng wants to know what's up, but he can't figure out why they're locked up together. He says that they've cast an "intention spell" on her, and if she leaves, she'll die instantly. He wants to get her out of the dungeon pronto, but Meng reminds him that she rebelled against the sect before, and that's why they need to keep her here. He doesn't care what happens to her, he just wants her to stay with him and Meng. He promises that he'll find a way to get rid of the spell on both of them.
