He asks the protagonist to appraise the two items, and they agree that the item with the highest value will be the one with the most value. This item is the "dark green dragon" , and it was given to the protagonist by his master, the hallmaster of "the virtuous hall." The protagonist then asks the referee to appraise this item as well. The referee agrees that it's a good item, but the protagonist still wants to know why the protagonist hasn't been able to find the other item yet. After all, he says, the protagonist has been hiding it for six hours, and that's enough for the protagonist. He's not so sure about the kid's motives, though, and wonders why the brat is still trying to use a soul tool to make the bet on him. He also wonders what the kid has been up to, since he has no finished product yet.
