This chapter's opening scene is set in the middle of a sparring match between Yuhao and his younger brother, uncle tai. Yuhao is clearly the stronger of the two, but uncle tai is still able to retaliate with a good amount of strength. He wants to force Yuhao to use his "martial soul" , but Yuhao refuses to do so, saying that it would be counted as a loss for him. He then launches into a series of offensive attacks, including a "dark golden terror claw" . After this sequence of attacks, Yuhao does not suffer any damage. He says that the gap between their abilities is too great, and that he will do as he is told.
