In this chapter, we are introduced to the "man and the sword" . We learn that the man is carrying a "hunk of metal" and that the sword is his "inherent soul power" , which is "level 3." The man believes that one day his sword will shine and that he will be able to challenge anyone at the sun-moon. The man also tells us that he has been called a "sword fanatic" by the virtuous hall and that his sword is getting "sharper and brighter" every day. He says that there are days when his sword idles and he is glad that he never gives up on his sword, because it is the only thing that keeps him going. He tells the man that he can feel the aura of the sword coming from him and that it is coming from the intent of the man's sword.
