The hallmaster tells the young man that he is conducting an investigation into his soul tool. The soul tool contains his private possessions, and anyone refusing to cooperate will be punished by the hallmaster as treason. The young man realizes that he has nothing else on him, and he must plan his next move. He wonders why the soul tool has the hall master's name, and wonders if he can bluff his way out of the situation. He says that he will not leave the room unless he is allowed to go to the Hallmaster's office. He explains that he does not need jing-hongchen to be able to use his soul skill, but that he can only use it if he is within a certain distance of the room. If he is outside the room, no one will suspect him of using soul skill. They sent lin-jiayi to retrieve him. He asks if he has a soul tool that has the name of the Hall Master on it. The Hallmaster tells him that he should come with him, but he is not sure why he has such a thing. He apologizes, but says that the HallMaster will explain everything. He wants to keep his composure. He hopes that the hallman does not have anything to scan the storage soul tool, otherwise, his cover will not be blown. If that happens, he says, not only will he end up dead but the entire Shrek Academy will be caught in the aftermath
