About This Chapter
The next day, the two men discuss the previous day's events. The first man says that he didn't expect to see the two of them together again. The second man says he's glad that he did, because it means that he can't be a part of the story anymore. The two men talk about how they've been working on weapons that represent "opposite extremes" , and that they're aware of the suffering that's been endured by the people of Dar es Salaam for so long. The men agree that it's a shame that the war has been going on so long, but they also agree that the situation is hopeless.
