She laments that her daughter has not slept or rested for the past few days and that she is going to keel over soon. She is worried about her daughter's well-being, but she is also concerned about her husband's health. She worries that he will die before she can see him. She tells him that her husband would die first if war were declared. She also worries that if her husband dies before she does, she will become a person who will refuse to change.
