About This Chapter
The next morning, the men discuss the situation. They're worried about what's going to happen to the town if the train doesn't come back to town. They don't want to be seen as weaklings, so they're going to do whatever they can to keep it safe. They also want to make sure that their son is safe, since he's been shot at by the enemy. The men agree that the town is under attack again, and they want to know if the Republic is using their armored train to attack again. They can't, since the Emperor's lost his favorite weapon, the battery. They need more workers to restore the towns, but they don''t have enough workers to do it. They want to give the armored train back to the Emperor, but in return for it, they'll get the battery back. The armored train has become a problem, because the Republic has asked the Emperor for money in exchange for the use of its weapons. The guys are worried about the weapons, since they've been fitted with military crawlers to cross marshes, which might bring them down, too.
