About This Chapter
The narrator wakes up in the middle of the night to find himself in a dream. He's not sure what's going on, but he's pretty sure it's a bad dream. The narrator asks the lieutenant to wake him up and get him going again. The lieutenant tells him to wake up, and the narrator tells him that it was a good dream. It turns out that the narrator was dreaming about a guy named Crabby. Crabby is the guy who invented the anti-tank gun that's now being used by the U.S. Army. The guy's got a gun with a magic number 13 on it, which means it can only fire one shot at a time. So, the narrator is pretty sure that Crabby's gun is a 13mm cannon that was never meant to be used. He also tells the lieutenant that he needs to get the heck out of there ASAP. The guys are psyched to have Crabby back.
