In the second half of the first half, Shusaku and the rest of the team try to defend against the attack of Oshiba and the others. They are unable to do so, however, because of the presence of the Volantes, who are able to shift the ball inside and outside of the opponent's defense. The Volantes are also able to slip in and out of the defense, and they manage to deflect the ball away from Oshiba, who is in the middle of the field.
