Just minutes before the end of the match, Keio scores a last-ditch goal. They have two minutes left to win the game, and they fear that Seiseki is on his way with them. They decide to kick off the game and hope that they can win it in the allotted time. Just then, Haibara comes back from behind and tries to catch up to Keio, but he's too far behind to do any harm. Keio catches him, and he blows past him. Haibara has no hope of survival, and is riding on the sidelines. Just as the game is about to end, the ball rebounds off of the goalpost and lands in the path of Seizeki, who promptly kicks it into the net.
