At the end of the first half of the second leg of the semi-final, Mizuki and the rest of the team huddle together in the locker room. Mizuki tells everyone that they're going to win the game and advance to the next round of the tournament. He tells everyone to go out and play the same way they always do. He says that he's not tired and that he wants to stay out there for as long as he can. Everyone wants to play, he says, even though they've all been playing on the bench for the whole game. They all want to get out there and prove that they can do it, even if they don't have the best of intentions. They collide, and Mizuki gets a corner kick, but it doesn't go in. He asks if they should have given him a penalty kick, and they both agree that they should give it to him. They leave Mizuki to take care of his injured leg, and he says that two years ago, he was "a real nobody" .
