In this chapter, Tommo and the other boys talk about the fact that they're the best team in the world. They've beaten everyone who's tried to challenge them, and now they've got a chance to win the World Cup. Tommo tells the boys that he's been hiding something from them all this time. He tells them that he was nothing special back in high school, and that his coach put him in the same spot every day for the rest of his life. He's not a great coach, he says, but he'll show them what they have.
