On the sixth day of his stay at the school, Tomohashi asks to be excused from his duties as a cleaner to help with the school's soccer club. He tells his friend that his grandmother is in critical condition, and that he has seen Tommohashi running around like a "girl" during the day. He also tells him that he is a "failure and a moron" because he is living his life "all wrong" . He says that he will never be able to cut it in "soccer" because his reflexes are "an absolute disaster, right ! too dense . . and too stupid"
