The next morning, the shop owner, Tsuka, and his assistant, Mishita, go to work. Mishita notices that the laces on his cleats have snapped, and he is worried that he will be unable to pass the ball to the other players on the team. He resolves to leave the shop when they are on the pitch, and Mishita thanks him profusely for the shoes. Mishima, however, is not satisfied with his efforts, and leaves the shop.
