In this chapter, we learn that the spirit queen is still alive, and that she is trying to use her power to help the human race. She has three potions that she plans to use to help human families have children with foreign clans, but she is the daughter of the prime minister. The prime minister, Fuqiu, has been trying to ally himself with the foreign clan leaders in order to gain their support. Fuqiu's son, who goes by the name of Fuqiu hanshan, begs the king to take him back. He tells the king that he is not an assassin, but that he can help the king declare war against the foreign clans.
