The spirit queen says that she was poisoned by the beauty's maid and that she has been saved by the king's kindness. She says that the king is close to her and that he is the first man who has ever sharpened his sword against her. She tells the audience that she will kill the emperor on the day she is crowned. She also says that he will be killed by his consort and that the emperor will be executed by his son on the following day.
